Occupational Health & Safety

45001- Occupational Health and SafetyISO 45001 is the internationally recognised standard related to Health and Safety that exists to help companies and organisations to address occupational health and safety (OH&S) rather than product safety.
ISO 45001 provides a framework to the effective management of OH&S including compliance with the legislation that applies to your activities and identified hazards.

The standard is applicable to any organisation that wishes to eliminate or minimize risk to employees and other stakeholders who may be exposed to OH&S risks associated with its activities.
This includes the monitoring of health and safety management failures, auditing of performance and review of policies and objectives.

BAFE schemes

SP101 Incorporating ST104 – The standard is principally based on ISO 9001, but has been specifically tailored to ensure that the staff involved in the maintenance of fire extinguishers conduct their work according to requirements and in a due diligent manner. The standard ensures that staff and the company are continually assessed which means that the end customer can be assured the work has been undertaken to a professional and recognised standard.

Automotive

One of the automotive industry’s most widely used international standards for quality management, IAFT 16949, is evolving with the publication of a new global industry standard by the International Automotive Task Force (IATF).
IAFT 16949, is technical specification for automotive sector quality management systems, has become one of the most widely used international standards in the automotive industry, harmonising the different assessment and certification systems in the global automotive supply chain.

Aerospace

AS9100 is a widely adopted and standardized quality management system for the aerospace industry. It was released in October, 1999, by the Society of Automotive Engineers and the European Association of Aerospace Industries.
AS9100 defines additional areas within an aerospace quality management system that must be addressed when implementing an ISO 9001:2008-based quality system. Major aerospace manufacturers and suppliers worldwide require compliance and/or registration to AS9100 as a condition of doing business with them.

ISO/IEC 17025 – General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories is the main ISO standard used by testing and calibration laboratories.
